Server-rendered content
One check, stated three ways: what we measure, what would make it wrong, and how to confirm it yourself.
What this measures
How much text is in the HTML you were sent, plus two app-shell markers: a root container named root/app/__next/nuxt/svelte/vue/angular/application, and a noscript asking the visitor to enable JavaScript.
Where this check can be wrong
A deliberately minimal landing page with little text is not a client-rendered shell, so it is only charged lightly. Conversely a shell without a conventional root element reads as a thin page rather than a shell.
Verify it without taking our word for it
curl -s https://your.site | sed 's/<[^>]*>//g' | tr -s '[:space:]' | wc -c — that number is what a crawler without JavaScript gets.
