Every directory badge. One tidy place.
Already have badges on your site? Scan the page, choose the ones you want, and import them together. Or paste a new badge code, install Badgebuddy once per product, and manage the full list from Launcholio.

Selective batch import
Bring over only the badges you want to keep.
Open a product and scan its website page. Review the linked-image badges Badgebuddy finds, select the ones to import, then add that selection together. Already saved badges are marked and skipped.
Badges beyond your live allowance are still saved offline. The scan cannot see badges injected later by JavaScript, and it does not edit your site. Remove old snippets and install Badgebuddy once to prevent duplicates.

A simple badge workflow
From directory snippet to a managed badge
Keep using the badge code directories give you. Badgebuddy gives those badges one place to live and one place to check them.
Paste the badge code
Copy the snippet from the directory. Badgebuddy reads the linked image and keeps supported safe attributes.
Install one embed
Add one embed for each product/site, or use the server-rendered example when a crawler needs the links in page HTML.
Manage from Launcholio
Add, edit, sort, enable, pause, import, and verify without pasting each directory snippet into your site again.
Grouped by product
Use the product and website records already in your Launcholio account. Your badge allowance is shared across its products.
Preview and resize
Preview a badge before adding it. Pick 28, 40, 54, or 68 px high; its width scales with the source image.
Check the live page
Verify the exact directory link and image on your published product page, and check that the image is publicly reachable.
Use the badge you already have
Paste the original snippet. Keep its useful details.
Directories usually give you an image inside a link. Paste that code as-is: Badgebuddy reads its href, src, alt text, and supported attributes. It rebuilds the badge safely instead of executing pasted HTML.
- Choose 28, 40, 54, or 68 px height
- Preview the image and destination link
- Reorder or pause badges from your dashboard

Use a script or render badges from your backend
Each product gets a private-to-your-product public widget ID. Fetch its live list as JSON, request a ready-to-render HTML fragment, or copy the Next.js example from your dashboard.
JavaScript embed
For quick setup and client-rendered pages. It fetches the latest enabled badges when it runs.
<div id="launcholio-directory-badges"></div>
<script async
src="https://launcholio.com/api/directory-badges/YOUR_WIDGET_ID/embed.js"
data-target="launcholio-directory-badges"></script>A crawler that does not run JavaScript will not see these links in the original HTML. Use server rendering for badge-gated directories.
Universal API · JSON or HTML
Use it from any backend: Express, Astro, PHP, Laravel, Django, and more.
GET /api/directory-badges/YOUR_WIDGET_ID
Accept: application/json
GET /api/directory-badges/YOUR_WIDGET_ID?format=html
Accept: text/htmlJSON is the default response. The HTML fragment includes real <a href> and <img> elements for server-rendered pages. Both return the latest enabled badges.
Server-rendered · Next.js example
Render returned records on the server so the response contains real <a href> and <img> elements.
const response = await fetch(
"https://launcholio.com/api/directory-badges/YOUR_WIDGET_ID",
{ cache: "no-store" }
);
const { badges } = await response.json();
// Render each badge on the server as:
// <a href={badge.listingUrl}>
// <img src={badge.imageUrl} alt={badge.altText} />
// </a>Your dashboard provides the complete component, including supported source attributes. Static HTML has no request-time updates; rebuild it to update server-rendered output.
Verification is a useful check, not a directory guarantee. Badgebuddy fetches your product URL, checks for the saved link and image in its HTML, and confirms the image is publicly reachable. A directory may have additional rules.

Good to know
Questions before you add it?
The dashboard includes your product-specific install code, batch import, preview, and verification check.
Open BadgebuddyWill directory crawlers see JavaScript-embedded badges?
Not necessarily. The script adds badges after the page loads, so a bot that reads only the original HTML will not see them. Use the server-rendered example when a directory checks the HTML response.
What does Verify check?
It fetches your public product page, looks for the exact saved directory link and image pair in the returned HTML, then checks that the image URL responds as a public image. It cannot guarantee that a directory will accept the badge or pass other checks.
Can I choose which existing badges to import?
Yes. Scan the public page, select the linked-image badges you want, and import only that selection. Badges beyond your live allowance stay saved offline. The scan cannot find badges injected only by JavaScript, and it does not remove the old code.
Do I need to edit my site after every badge change?
No. Add Badgebuddy once per product/site. JavaScript retrieves the current list when it runs; a server-rendered site retrieves it on each request. Static HTML must be rebuilt to update server-rendered badges.
