Short answer

What you need to know before submitting

SaaSHub's official form requires an eligible, released product. It explicitly rejects waitlist-only pages, unreleased apps, free-subdomain URLs and non-English products. Add relevant categories and actual competitors: the site says omitting competitors pushes review toward the back of its queue.

Important limitation

An AI agent should not automatically submit a product on SaaSHub: its form explicitly directs agents to ask their human operators to submit instead. Verification is a separate product-ownership check and is not automatic editorial approval.

Best for: Live SaaS, apps and relevant software alternatives. User intent: Submit product / rejection / verification.

Step-by-step

Get your SaaSHub submission right

01

Check whether the product already exists

Search SaaSHub for your product and final domain. A discovered page may need claiming or correction, not another new submission.

02

Check eligibility against the actual product site

Use a branded live URL, working software, real screenshots and an English experience. The form explicitly excludes unfinished projects, a waitlist-only landing page and free hosting subdomains.

03

Prepare categories and meaningful competitors

Write a concise description and identify software a buyer could reasonably choose instead. SaaSHub warns that leaving competitors blank delays review, so don't skip this field.

04

Submit through SaaSHub's own form

Enter the product website URL and complete the visible submission flow yourself. SaaSHub does not accept email submissions and asks AI agents not to submit automatically.

05

Verify and maintain the approved product

Once a product listing page is available, follow Verify product using your company-domain email, an HTML snippet on your site, or a verification link from support. Reconfirm product details when the platform prompts you quarterly.

Avoidable mistakes

What usually goes wrong

Submitting a Vercel preview or a waitlist

The official form explicitly excludes free subdomains and landing pages containing only email capture.

Do this instead: Launch the real product and use your branded custom domain before submitting.

Leaving competitor fields empty

SaaSHub says this slows approval and moves the submission toward the back of its queue.

Do this instead: Identify two to five actual competing workflows, not unrelated famous products.

Confusing owner verification with approval

Verification proves ownership and can help visibility or review priority; it is not an instant approval switch.

Do this instead: Keep separate states for submitted, approved, owner verified and publicly linked.

A verification flow that is actually useful

SaaSHub describes verification as a free way for vendors to take control of their product listing. From the listing page, follow the verification link; depending on the options offered, you can use a company email, paste a supplied HTML snippet onto your own site, or request help. After access is granted, verify accurate product details in the management page.

This isn't a task to outsource by handing someone your passwords. When an owner-only verification email or code is needed, complete that step yourself. Document the date and resulting public listing, and watch for quarterly reconfirmation messages so your product isn't presented with stale pricing or categories.

Do not pay for “more listings” before improving relevance

SaaSHub's discovery model relies heavily on product alternatives and comparison pages. A developer monitoring API uptime should not target a random image editor's alternative list. Start with users' actual substitute products and problem categories. The most relevant comparison surfaces are the ones worth maintaining.

Once the listing is public, check the link to your site and analyze visitors who arrive through it. A submitted product and an approved listing are useful operational events, but neither alone proves qualified traffic or conversions. Record both the real listing and any referral sessions.

Do not lose your submission

Keep proof of the attempt and the result

Before you leave, save SaaSHub, your product URL, the submitted date, receipt, current status and any owner-only action. Only set the status to live after a signed-out visitor can open the final public listing URL.

The Launcholio tracker is user-managed. It does not automatically submit to SaaSHub, bypass access controls or guarantee approval.

Founder questions

SaaSHub submission FAQ

Why did SaaSHub reject my product URL?

Check the site's published exclusions first. Unreleased products, free-subdomain websites, non-English apps, agency websites and waitlist-only pages are explicitly ineligible.

Does SaaSHub require adding competitor products?

The form says submissions without competitors are slowed down and put near the back of the queue. Choose genuinely comparable products and relevant categories.

How do I verify my SaaSHub listing?

On your listing use Verify product. SaaSHub offers company-domain email, HTML snippet and assisted verification-link methods, then a management-page confirmation step.

Can Launcholio automatically submit to SaaSHub?

No. Launcholio's tracker is user-managed, and SaaSHub's official form specifically asks AI agents to leave the submission to the human operator. Do not bypass platform verification.

Done-for-you alternative

Focus on your product. Let us handle the repetitive directory work.

SaaSHub requires the founder to submit and verify through its approved flow. Our pilot can prepare research and handle compatible directories, but cannot override that requirement or promise a SaaSHub approval.

Our separate $49 pilot covers 15 agreed, eligible directory submission attempts, an evidence report and a follow-up link check. No approvals, indexing or rankings are promised.
